Permanent Technical & Engineering position in Blackburn

Pay: £15,000/year

About the Vacancy

Have you experience working on large contracts or projects and managed the administration and co-ordination of such from Head Office?  

We are working on behalf of a growing company who are looking to recruit a permanent member of staff ASAP. 

Your typical responsibilities will include;

  • Taking responsibility for organising contractors work on a day to day basis
  • Confirming appointments and keeping in regular contact with clients / management
  • Collecting various information to update on system; hours / timesheets etc
  • Preparing project packs
  • Booking hotels and accommodations for over night stays
  • Liaising with project managers
  • Working with contractors and retrieving reports via PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)
  • Updating, amending and monitoring information that have been sent through onto in house computer system
  • Printing of reports, collating reports and chasing information
  • General administration work; typing letters, answering the telephone, filling / faxing etc

You must have previous experience supporting either engineers/technicians/ surveyors or contractors. You must be organised with good diary management skills and have previous experience booking hotels and accommodation.
