About the Vacancy
Due to continue expansion our client requires a proven .Net Developer to manage, develop and maintain an e-commerce site on behalf of successful services company.
This position has arisen due to the creation of an in-house development function and the successful candidate will join a team environment at an exciting period of service launch.
If successful you will take overall responsibility for the functionality and development of the online application and will effectively build and maintain web services, research, evaluate and develop improvements to the platform to increase functionality and performance and take responsibility for on ongoing development projects.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience managing and developing an e-commerce system, experience in building similar systems, as well as a good understanding of configuration management, testing and bug tracking. You will have addition technical capabilities with: .NET (ASP & VB), JavaScript, CSS and XHTML, SQL, as well as experience of Search Engine Optimisation processes.
