We are working with an entrepreneurial organisation that are looking to bring their web development and search engine optimisation in house by employing a permanent web developer to join their expanding team.

This is a varied role which involves designing and developing web functionality and user interfaces as well as back end coding. Although the role requires a high level of technical understanding, proven design and creativity skills are equally important.

You will work closely with the director to determine the target audience in order to produce a design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required. In addition you will be testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions and fixing errors

The company has already started developing their website and will expect the successful candidate to continue, make content updates and take control of Search Engine Optimisation.

To be considered you will have a strong background in producing good quality, stylish and highly usable websites and web application interfaces. You will ideally have strong design skills with the ability to deliver solutions and code that are robust and flexible. You should possess a real passion for web design; have significant web experience and working knowledge of search engine optimisation.
