We are looking for two very experienced Senior Engineers to join a company that specialises in a variety of building services for the public sector as well as large plc's.  The company is looking for one Mechanical and one Electrical Engineer. For both positions they are looking for an impressive employment history which will show the ability to oversee projects, which may involve designing or outsourcing to a sub contractor and overseeing the complete project. It will involve full autonomy for potentially large scale project management from the initial requirement right through to project completion.

The successful applicant will be on occasion visiting customers on-site, in order to effectively plan the systems in regards to all areas including design and installation. You will then be required to oversee and co-ordinate all aspects of the contract..

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Designing mechanical or electrical systems
Purchasing necessary equipment and products and arranging with suppliers what materials are required for the project
Budgetary control - Informing the customer on the costs involved and ensuring that these costs are adhered to
Getting quotes on any subcontracted work and arranging sub contractor labour (including additional designers when necessary)
Visiting site to oversee the project and ensure that it is running to budget and on time.
Overseeing installations and contractors
Efficient product development

We are looking for candidates with experience of handling large projects, with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably from a building services related organisation. The client will pay whatever it takes to get the right people on board but a genuine salary banding of £35- £45k is on offer..
