About the Vacancy
Professional Recruitment Partner is working in partnership with a multinational manufacturer soon to celebrate fifty years of trading.
Due to a continually expanding order book they are now recruiting within their customer service department for a customer planner.
You will be responsible for identifying customer requirements through liaison with company representatives of all levels including production requirements and negotiation of lead times.
You will develop strong relationships with you customer base and have the ability to overcome any issues that may arise such as; late deliveries, incomplete orders, progressing orders etc. In addition you will review raw material requirements and make purchases if required.
You will liaise heavily with the production team in order to assist in the planning or workload for the factory.
To be considered you must have proven experience in a customer focussed environment, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as strong IT skills (ideally access, but not essential).
