Permanent Technical & Engineering position in North West

Pay: £35,000/year

About the Vacancy

 

Due to growth and expansion Professional Recruitment Partner are working with a market leading FMCG company who are looking to add to their already successful team of on-site service engineers.


They are seeking an experienced engineer to provide on- site maintenance & repair. You will be working with a team of time-served engineers to ensure that all machinery is running efficiently and repairing any faults.

 

The successful applicant will be a key member of this highly skilled team and conduct the following duties;

 

  • Recording Gas and leak detection
  • Update the management team on any potential failures and risk
  • Maintain all records and logs for consumables and waste, i.e. Gas, Liquid, water.
  • Update management team of service visit results
  • Assist in the training of the Engineering team in specialist areas of basic refrigeration and service activities.
  • Keeping up to date any water treatment and conditioning schedules / records
  • Responsible for coordinating site visits schedules and assisting contractors
  • Receiving and collating reports for management review
  • Analysis of compressor and utility equipment data
  • Data input of services record / repairs
  • Involvement in site service and plant improvements

 

The role requires the following skills and qualifications;

 

  • Ammonia and refrigerant handling certificate
  • Ability to work on call and weekends if required
  • Minimum NVQ 2 or equivalent in site services / refrigeration

The salary on offer is in the region of £35,000 and the package includes an overtime schedule, a contributory pension and private healthcare.
