About the Vacancy
A leading FMCG company require a skilled Maintenance Manager to work alongside the qualified engineers in ensuring improved machine availability & reliability throughout the business. The role is predominantly based at Head Office and has no requirement for travel.
The Maintenance Manager is a key role within the business and will oversee the whole mechanical function of the business. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver on-target production through maintenance of assets and availability of skilled resource.
Duties include;
- Maintenance scheduling
- Implementation and ongoing management of a Computerised Maintenance Management System
- Providing support to the Engineering function to ensure issues that reduce production output are dealt with quickly and effectively.
- Delivering timely information that increase output, reduce costs, develop standardised work.
- Liaising with other departments such as Operations, New Product Development & Quality.
- Liaise with external suppliers and service engineers.
The company offers a 24/7 facility and as such you will be required to answer occasional call outs at weekend and generally support the engineering team on critical plant failures.
