A company specialising in the design of complex bespoke machinery are looking for an experienced Engineer to join their Design team. The company has been working with companies across a multitude of Industry sectors for many years and provide equipment for many major plc's.

The successful candidate will offer a strong academic background as well as experience in both Mechanical engineering and design.

The role involves designing comprehensive, bespoke machinery where there are no standard requirements. The designs are done from spec, according to the customer's specific needs. You will then design, produce arrangements, produce drawings, discuss designs with the customer and possibly meet the client to take additional information. You will also provide all documentation for the project.

It is essential that applicants have a high proficiency in Autocad design but also has the necessary level of knowledge in Mechanical Engineering (particularly in machinery design), backed by a proven work history in a similar capacity. It is important that all employees are aware of health and safety legislation, potentially hazardous areas of practice and attention to National and International standards.

The successful applicant will receive a salary of up to £30,000 commensurate with experience, office hours (including an early finish on Friday) and 25 days holiday.
