About the Vacancy
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with one of East Lancashire prestigious manufacturing companies for a result driven Credit Controller/Sale Ledger Clerk to join their rapidly expanding accounts function.
Reporting to the Credit Control/Sales Ledger Manager you will be responsible for chasing outstanding debt from companies around the UK; ensuring companies comply with their credit agreements to minimise bad debt and to maximise cash flow within the business. In addition to your Credit Control responsibilities you will be required to assist the team with the production of sales invoices and statements for customers via Sage Line 50 as well as allocating payments to the ledger.
Applicants must have a strong B2B credit control and sales ledger background; ideally within the manufacturing industry but this is not essential. Also you will have strong communication skills both written and verbally with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
