We are working in partnership with a large financial services organisation in order to recruit an Operational Risk Specialist.

If successful you will be working with the Head of Operational Risk to ensure appropriate understanding and application of the Operational Risk Management Framework through reporting, education and advice to colleagues and management.

Your main responsibilities will involve;

• Facilitating risk control workshops and agreeing actions and risk performance measures.
• Collating monthly risk returns and report risk MI in the Risk Dashboard to facilitate the monitoring of key risks and support management in decision-making.
• Maintaining the process for the capture, analysis and evaluation of risk events/loss data; monitoring emerging issues and producing reports to support management decision-making.
• Supporting the delivery of the risk awareness training strategy through designing and delivering elements and obtaining feedback on the effectiveness.
• Maintaining awareness of operational risk methodology and industry developments relevant to the company, including external risk events.

To be considered you must have previous Risk Management experience within a financial services organisation.
