About the Vacancy
A small but expanding company are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to take responsibility for the Sales and Marketing function within the business. This role offers the right individual a genuine opportunity to be heading up a sales team and even have a Directorship within a couple of years.
The business has reached its current level of success purely through Marketing using advertising and mailshot techniques. It is now looking to take the next step in developing business through direct sales on a face- to- face and telephone sales basis.
Your role will be strategic, determining sales strategy and methodology and also putting that sales strategy into practice. It requires an extremely driven and pro-active person who can effectively build not only future business but also a team of sales staff. This is a challenging role but could potentially be extremely rewarding for an ambitious applicant.
Your potential customer base is limitless and not industry specific, hence not particularly effected by the current economic climate. The package is excellent reflecting the calibre of individual they are looking for; to £35k basic with a realistic OTE comprising of both an uncapped bonus and profit related pay ( potentially in the region of £70k).
