We are working in partnership with an Electrical Wholesaler based in the Cumbria region.

The company retails electrical products to a varied client base comprising of contractors, hotels and public sector organisations.  

The successful candidate would be responsible for the efficient, effective and profitable operation of the branch, and ensuring the achievement of sales and gross margin targets. The position also carries the responsibility for the effective management of overheads, training and motivation of branch staff and effective implementation of agreed stock level controls.

The typical duties include;

• Face to face handling of customers,
• Managing existing customer accounts
• Sales strategy planning and target achievement
• Staff recruitment & training
• P&L management
• Health and safety
• Stock management
• Order placing and negotiation with suppliers
