Central to their success is their ability to keep their vehicles moving on time and to schedule. It is to this end that our client is looking to appoint a Transport Planner. Within this role, your main responsibilities will include route planning for at least 5 distribution areas, maintaining records and vehicle maintenance scheduling. You will also be expected to debrief drivers, monitor trackers and infringements.

The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously. You will be an excellent team player, capable of working to tight deadlines and using your own initiative. Highly organised, you will possess excellent planning and prioritising skills and you will have a creative approach to problem solving, looking beyond the first answer in order to provide the right solution.
