We are currently recruiting for a market leading organisation that requires a purchasing professional to fill a newly created role within their procurement team.

Due to recent business wins the once fast paced environment has now accelerated further.   Therefore you must be able to manage multiple projects in a systematic way.

You need the ability to identify and research product opportunities which can be proactively marketed to clients. You therefore must be a commercially aware and be constantly generating new product ideas and alternative ways of working and problem solving.

Your typical day will include sourcing products from the UK and overseas, negotiating with potential suppliers, procurement administration and analysis. Most importantly you will be expected to be heavily involved in liaison with suppliers, customers and the internal sales teams.

You need to have an understanding of purchasing ideally from worldwide suppliers; however it is more important that you are an ideas generator and can work alongside marketing to effectively source successful products.

This is an exceptionally dynamic role with great promotion prospects, where projects and product lines vary dramatically. If you are looking for a challenge then this is it!!
