Our successful client requires a stock analyst to ensure that product is available at the right time and at the right price. You will be working closely with a team of buyers to forecast trends, plan stock levels and monitor sales data.

Key responsibilities;

• Range planning
• Analysing sales figures and trends
• Forecasting future sales and profits
• Setting prices and sales targets
• Negotiating prices with suppliers, placing and chasing orders
• Controlling stock levels, moving stock and ensuring that best-selling products are always available
• Promoting or reducing the prices of slower-selling lines
• Updating and reporting on price changes, promotions, stock and cost adjustments.
• Running and distribution of daily and weekly reports for the buyers and merchandisers.
• Taking responsibility for maintaining all stock information on Access database

In return you will be offered a healthy salary of between £16k - £20k plus extensive benefits including contributory pension and family healthcare.
