Permanent Financial Services position in Skipton
About the Vacancy
We are currently working in partnership with a well recognised financial services organisation.
Reporting into the Business Assurance Manager you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of risk models / frameworks.
If successful your main tasks will include;
- Reviewing various operational areas to identify perceived risks and potential controls.
- Undertaking periodic reviews and audits.
- Liaising with management team to update progress of planned improvements / controls.
- Ensuring all associated operational working practices are effectively monitored and controlled to minimise the risk of financial loss.
- Provide management information through analysis.
To be considered you will have either a background in risk OR have a background in compliance financial services (ideally mortgages).
You will have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, persuasiveness and communication: both written and verbal. You will also have good analytical skills with attention to detail.
This is an initial ten month maternity cover with a view to become a permanent position.
