About the Vacancy
An experienced Electrician/Electrical Engineer is required to assist with the installation, modification, maintenance and repair of fire safety sprinkler equipment. You will work on site doing the electrical work assisting the technical service engineers. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a fast expanding market leading organisation. The role will encompass the following responsibilities;
- Analysis of equipment and ensuring safe and commercially viable usage
- Electrical system concept
- Preparation of supporting calculation
- Ensuring safety policies are adhered to
- Interaction with the design team
- Checking new installations and designs
- Performing in-depth tests of equipment
- check electrical drawings
- Assisting in the identification and selection of all types of electrical components
- Compliance with applicable and recognised client, national and international standards
