This expanding electrical product manufacturer requires a design engineer to develop new products from concept to final approval.

Main responsibilities will involve;

Ensure designs conform to British Standard and customer specifications.
Project manage new designs through testing and approvals to market.
To perform stress and strain calculations in order to validate designs

Create and maintain bills of materials
To provide technical support to customers.
To develop new manufacturing methods.

An understanding of the latest environmental requirements would be advantageous.

It is essential that you are qualified to minimum HNC level and are skilled in Pro-Engineer. Experience of programming using RADAN would be extremely desirable
