Permanent Customer Service & Account Management position in Blackburn

Pay: £25,000/year

About the Vacancy

This large FMCG requires an exceptional Account Manager to join their prestigious sales function.

You will be managing the large retail accounts in order to deliver sustainable volume, net sales and profit growth through development and deployment of customer business.

The main responsibilities will be;

* To develop and implement account business plans.
* Help co-ordinate and communicate all commercial activities.
* Facilitate the development of new business opportunities by tailoring them to specific customer needs.
* Assist in controlling costs through the effective management and monitoring of account expenditure.
* Manage specific project work
* Deliver professional and high quality responses to all external customer enquires.
* Assist in evaluating pre and post commercial activities (costing, promotions etc)
* Understand and develop account management skills.
* Work with supply chain to ensure accurate forecast are communicated to business within specified time frame and customer service targets are maintained.
* Monitor and feedback to internal team competitive activity and retail price moves
* Development and maintain successful customer relationships.

This is a unique opportunity to work with the worlds largest brands. To be considered you must be of degree calibre, have some experience of managing either FMCG / Retail accounts.

This is predominantly an internal role, but there may be some client liaison off site, therefore it is essential you have a driving license.

A healthy salary plus car allowance and continued personal development is available for the successful candidate.
