An opportunity has arisen due to maternity leave for a planning / purchasing coordinator to join this close knit team.

Your aim will be to achieve continued level of customer service whilst still ensuring budget and stock controls.

Your main responsibilities will include;

• Liaise with suppliers in order to source new product lines.
• Supplier evaluation and negotiation.
• Maintain data on contacts, lead times and payment terms etc.
• Investigating stock levels and ensuring safety stock.
• Dealing with import deliveries / container management.

This is an involved role which will encompass both planning and purchasing. You will be using MRP and also a great deal of Excel.

12 month contract to cover maternity leave.
