Due to continued growth this market specialist requires a Health & Safety Manager to ensure the delivery of an integrated HSEQ management system that will reflect the company's commitment to a world class HSEQ culture.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will have the responsibility for the management of all compliance and improvement initiatives across the operations, the appointee will champion HSEQ issues within the business, providing strong leadership and specialist knowledge. You will be required to engage and influence staff at all levels including senior management and directors to ensure the delivery of a zero tolerance culture and a just approach to accidents and eliminating risk.

Managing all auditing processes, you will advise on corporate targets and contribute to reviewing and developing strategies and training to meet all compliances and quality requirements.

You will be expected to co-ordinate the review of company health, safety and environmental procedures and maintain site Health & Safety registers for risk assessments. As well as investigate and close out all accidents/incidents and carry out site and in-house audits.

You will have previous experience working in a Safety Management role and would ideally suit someone with a background gained from an engineering/construction and/or a safety related discipline. The successful candidate will have a recognised H&S qualification, i.e. NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
